I am Board Certified in General Psychiatry. After graduating from Purdue University with a B.A. in psychology, I earned my medical degree from Indiana University in 1996. Indiana University Medical Center is also where I completed my residency training.
Following residency, I practiced at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. My practice at that time was limited to treating inpatients, including many people with serious, chronic mental illnesses. Frequently, when patients were being discharged, they would inquire if had an outpatient office, as they wished to continue treatment with me.
I opened a private outpatient practice in Fishers in 2006. I am a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Indiana Psychiatric Association.
I believe in keeping work and personal time balanced. My husband and I are the parents of two energetic daughters. I enjoy reading, sewing, and gourmet food and wine.
